Breath Training
Discover your breathing patterns and identify exercises to improve your breathing styles and reset your nervous system. This leads to more effective breathing.
Breathe Better. Live Better
Your breath influences your energy, sleep, stress levels, and overall health.
Learn how to restore natural breathing patterns and unlock your body’s full potential.
What is Breath Training?
Breath training is the process of retraining how you breathe,
restoring patterns your body was designed to use,
but may have lost over time.
Modern life has quietly changed the way we breathe:
- Mouth breathing instead of nasal breathing
- Shallow, upper chest breathing
- Over-breathing (taking in too much air too often)
It’s not just about how much you breathe.
It’s about how well you breathe.
Signs your breath may be dysregulated
You may benefit from breath training if you experience:
- Anxiety or feeling “on edge”
- Poor sleep or waking tired
- Frequent sighing or yawning
- Tight chest or shallow breathing
- Snoring or mouth breathing
- Low energy or brain fog
These are often signs your nervous system is stuck in a
stress response pattern.
Why breath matters
Your breath is one of the few systems in your body that is both:
- Automatic
- AND consciously controllable
This makes it a powerful tool for influencing:
- Nervous system regulation
- Oxygen delivery to tissues
- Carbon dioxide balance
- Heart rate and stress response
Breathing techniques focus on improving your body’s tolerance to carbon dioxide,
which is essential for efficient oxygen use.
More breathing is not better.
Better breathing is better.
When your breathing changes, everything changes.
Clients often experience:
- A deeper sense of calm
- Improved sleep quality
- Reduced anxiety
- More stable energy
- Greater connection to their body
- Better sports performance
This is not about forcing the breath, it’s about restoring what your body already knows
how to do
Breath training focuses on
Functional Breathing Foundations
- Nasal breathing
- Diaphragmatic breathing
- Reducing over-breathing
Nervous System Regulation
- Down-regulating stress responses
- Creating safety in the body
- Building resilience to triggers
CO₂ Tolerance Training
- Gentle breath holds
- Improving oxygen delivery
- Increasing calm under pressure
Practical Daily Integration
- Breathing for sleep
- Breathing for stress
- Breathing during movement and exercise
Your 14 Day Journey
After your breath assessment is completed, your results are reviewed and a personalised 14-day breathing plan is created for you. Your assessment scores determine which breathing exercises and activities are most appropriate for your current breathing pattern and nervous system state.
You will then receive:
- your assessment report
- your personalised breathing plan
- access to the breath training app
Inside the app you will work through your daily activities and mark them as completed as you progress. The program is designed to guide you step-by-step rather than overwhelm you with too many exercises at once.
At the end of the program, a reassessment is recommended so your progress can be measured and your next plan can be adjusted based on your updated scores.
